Becoming a senior adult at First Baptist means more than earning a right to use the handicapped parking spots. We have several opportunities for our seniors to become involved in church activities. AAA (Active Aging Adults) is a group that takes trips to various places the fourth Tuesday of each month. It is a time of great fun and fellowship. We also have a very active group that meets each Tuesday at 9 am in the Middle School Sunday School Class. They are called the "Mission Hearts & Hands" and they do various mission work through quilting and craft work. The Senior Adult Handbells is another group of seniors that get together to practice handchimes. This group meets on Tuesday from 1:15-2:30 pm in the Handbell Room. This group plays for the local nursing homes and occasionally plays pre-service music for Sunday morning worship. If you have any questions or want to join one of these groups, please contact the church office.
